Guides Identify Effective Evaluation Techniques
GrantCraft: Evaluation Techniques: A Series of Brief Guides
GrantCraft, a project of the Ford Foundation, offers guides, videos, workshops, and other tools that provide practical wisdom about the field of grantmaking. One of the issues critical to effective grantmaking is identifying evaluation and assessment techniques that help document and analyze the work that grantmakers support. To help grantmakers weigh the advantages of different approaches, GrantCraft offers the Evaluation Technique Series. Each guide explains the basics of one technique, answers common questions about its use, describes how some grantmakers are applying it, and includes a list of resources for readers who want to learn more. Visit the website listed above to download free copies of the guides.
